We are a group of Indonesian student volunteers that have dedicated our free time running this non-profit organisation with a simple goal of representing all Indonesian students currently, going to, or have studied in Australia.

PPIA is an abbreviation of Perhimpunan Pelajar Indonesia Australia which directly translates to Association of Indonesian Students in Australia. PPIA Swinburne itself is a branch of that association who has embodied Indonesian students in Swinburne University of Techology.

Our vision is to become a medium to spread knowledge, grow talents, and promote Indonesian culture while also build kinship and solidarity between our community.

Our mission are

• To become the home away from home for all Indonesian students in Australia.

• To share and spread awareness regarding Indonesian cultures in Australia.

• To become a means for our members to gather, network, and improve their student life.

We provide and run a broad range of monthly events for our members such as, gatherings, festivals, sports, and road trips. We also have a variety of special promotion options with our working partners.

We are under affiliation with Indonesian Students’ Association in Victoria (PPIA Victoria), Consulate General of The Republic of Indonesia, and Swinburne Student Life (SSL).
